Oxidation State of peroxide and superoxide ions
« on: June 18, 2012, 10:40:36 AM »
Hi Guys,

I am currently doing my high school question and is stuck with the following questions.

What is the oxidation state of peroxide and superoxide ions?

I have absolutely no idea what peroxide and superoxide ions are.

First time encountering these 2 terms.

Kindly appreciate if any kind souls can enlighten me.

Thanks
