Natural substance that "eliminates" water surface tension?
« on: July 05, 2012, 03:36:31 AM »
Hello,

I hope you can help with a preferably natural substance solution to this:

I need to have spit (from the mouth) distribute evenly on a plastic surface, yet when trying to do so it "congests" into small "clusters". Any of you know of a simple (and preferably natural substance) way of eliminating this clustering?

The "natural substance" preferably should also evaporate after a little while at atmospheric temperatures (or a little higher).

Any insights appreciated ;-)

You want to make the surface hydrophilic or wettable. Most detergents/soaps will work.
