I need a practical method for the synthesis of ethyl palmitate from palmitic acid and 1-naphthyl acetate from 1-naphthol

Look up esterification in your textbook and show an attempt at the question.

Like Dan: said, what general class of compound is ethyl palmitate?  And how do we make those?
