Chemical Problem {Qualitative_inorganic_analysis}

Hello. I'm currently studying CBSE board. Just started the 11th grade. Please help me on this.

While are analyzing different salts on our chemistry practicals now. Salt Analysis. And while testing for cations and anions, mam says "zero group absent, 1st group absent, now test for 2nd group" What does that mean? I'm totally into the confusion. Please help me.!
