Schrodinger's wave equation

We solve the equation for an atom to get the eigen functions for which we get the values of characteristic eigen's values or the "regions" where probability of finding an electron is the most or orbitals.When the equation is solved for a electron then we get a series of three-dimensional points where an electron can be found.

1. What is the difference between these solutions(in both we have found the most probable location of an electron)?
2. Do we find the solution for an atom for some specific value of E(or energy level) and therefore the probability of electron's location in that very energy level
3. When solve it for an electron, want are we actually obtaining?
4. What is the difference between the orbitals and electron clouds?

The Orbital is just a region where the electron has the highest probability of being. Electron cloud and orbital are one and the same. people just say "orbital" becuase its less confusing when you are just learning the subject.
