Calibrating a Colorimeter
« on: September 04, 2012, 06:20:10 PM »
Hi I have this true and false questionnaire for Gen Chem II orientation and I could not find the answer anywhere in the handout.

Question: The colorimeter is always calibrated using pure water in the cuvette.

-Normally I would say true since that is what I was told to do most of time.....but idk.

Thanks in Advance

Look carefully at the definitions and at your procedure, do you really calibrate with water?
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
