Oh-Kay. So why doesn't ArXiv have stuff on chemistry?

A preprint similar to ArXiv was launched for chemists: the CPS (Chemical Preprint Server). It was closed after one or two years because chemists did not like it. I suppose that chemists do not like to get info for free and prefer to pay $30 per article to non-profit societies, whose directors earn giant salaries.

I posted some articles in CPS. Now nobody can access them
