I don't have the first clue where to start on this. Here is the problem:
A 1.0234 g sample of solid plant food was analyzed according to the standard procedure. .8645 g of solid product (MgNH4PO4*6H2O) was isolated at the end of the procedure. How many grams of P are in .8645 g of MgNH4PO4*6H2O? How many grams of P2O5 can be calculated with this many grams of P? What % phosphate (As in P2O5) in plant food sample?
I missed a class period, and this is what I missed. I am so lost. Can anyone help? It's due a bit later today. I tried he Chem Tutoring center and finding my professor, but both times nobody was there.
