Anyhow, I ordered a Sterling Silver acid test kit from Ebay.  When I tested the beads the color came out a pale green, which indicated 500 silver or less.  What is exactly 500 silver?  Does that mean that the item has 50% or less silver in it?  Or does it mean that it is simply silver plated?  I tested both the inside and outside of the beads and both sides came out with the same 500 silver results, so my guess is that this would rule out silver plated.
