I need to wet a surface with very small features, for which I need something with very low surface tension. I've been using hot ethanol, but it's still not very good. My next attempt will ideally be DMSO, but I need to know beforehand if mixing ethanol and DMSO can react in a way which could damage the surface. Things to avoid are temperature changes and solid reaction products of any kind.
Can anyone tell me if I can safely mix them? Note that reaction volumes will be microliters of each.
Thanks.
