Hydrogen chloride azeotrope with different solvents
« on: January 02, 2013, 02:50:47 PM »
I previously started a topic about hcl and have learned a great deal since then. Im currently seeking out information, preferably, a chart listing which solvents hydrogen chloride is soluble in and at which concentration is the azeotrope. If you know where to find this info please let me know. Ive only found info on hcl and if you read that post you will know that ive already learned all there is to know about the azeotrope with water.

Back with a cool find. The term used for what im looking for is table not chart. I found this site. Excellent source for chemists. It still contains little info on hydrogen chloride. Its strange.  ;)

What post is this? Can you post a link?

HCl forms binary azeotropes with H2O and MeOH.

Also a ternary azeotrope with Pyridine + Napthalene.
