Ephedrine + HCl

What would form when ephedrine reacts with HCl??(Does it react with -NH group ,-OH or both?Thank You

My money would be on the -NH group. When -OH gets protonated, water leaves as a stable enough entity. and leaves behind a carbocation, which is actually the basis for the formation of many a carbocation from alcohols in organic chemistry.
