NMR spectra help

Hi

I do not know exactly how to interpretate that specter.
Formula for compound is:


Specter is attched to post.

I do not know which solvent was used.

I find out this, but I am not sure it si wright:
- signal with integral 3 is from hydrogens from the final carbon of decanoil chain
- signal with integral 12,1 is from  next 6 carbons
- signal with integral 2,06 are two hydrogens from next carbon


- signal with integrals 1,97 and 1,96 are from benezne nucleus

You are doing ok at the moment. Remember that amides will show rotamers in the NMR so some signals may well be doubled.
Development Chemists do it on Scale, Research Chemists just do it!

I don't really see a solvent signal, but I think it might be d6-DMSO.
The OH is sitting between the signals with integrals just before 2 and the one with 12 as a broad signal.

I think it might be d6-DMSO.

I certainly agree with DMSO. Residual solvent at 2.50 and water at 3.33.

I think the phenol OH and amide NH are the shifts around 9 ppm.

Compare 4-acetamidophenol specrum from Sigma-Aldrich.
