Alkani metals in glass production
« on: December 07, 2012, 04:27:11 PM »
I'm doing a research for school, and i really can't find anything regarding this topic! I need to write about the use of alkani metals in glass production. I know for what some of them are used, but i can't figure out why they're used for that, and i can't find it on the internet... Anything you know! Please :)

Per forum rules you should show your attempts at solving the problem before receiving help.

None of your statements are true, there are plenty of sources, online and otherwise, that detail how glass is made and what various alkali metal salts do to affect the glass.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
