Regioselective and stereoselective

Is it possible to have regioselective elimination reactions that are also stereoselective? The exercises in my book seem to never show that it could happen.

Also, is it safe to say that "asymmetric" alkyl halides will always undergo regioselective elimination and eliminations with alkyl halides with 2 hydrogens available at the same β carbon are stereoselective?

Anytime two pathways have different energy requirements, the lower energy pathway will prevail. Regioselectivity and stereoselectivity will make more sense to you if you understand the energy requirements of the two possible reactions.

By "Energy" you mean Activation Energy or ΔG?
