Copper(II) triflate as a Lewis acid
«

Does anybody know how copper(II) triflate work as a Lewis acid? Is it dissolved into ions? My reaction mixture was blue which indicated Cu
2+
. But if it is dissolved, would other Cu
2+
-salts do as a Lewis acid?
