Observed when I did the experiment about electrolytes in coconut water.

I found white deposits on the copper wire,
when I put the conductance sensor that makes with a plastic tube and copper wire into the coconut water.

Is that reaction of copper? Or other ions in coconut water being oxided or reduced and get attracted to the electrons riched pole?

Is there any reaction, first? If could be just a layer of dryed coconut water on the wire. What happens without current and the electrodes not connected?

I'm not sure if the 9V battery in the experiment will provide enough heat to dry up the coconut water.
I also see bubbling at the copper wire.  Deposits appear when the copper wire is still immersed in coconut water.
