Hi,
I am a physicist doing an essay on carbon capture and it seems that when an absorbant solvent like amine absorbs C02 at a higher concentration to the other gasses in a flue, it requires less energy to absorb and release the C02 in the regeneration process (where the amine is heated to release C02). I was wondering why this is the case.
