I used a grocery store brand soap after my last experiment, and im wondering if it will affect the purity of future experiments. Like could there possibly be some chemicals left over from the soap that aren't water soluble, and is there a general procedure i should through to remove them like a base wash then an acid wash? Also is diluted ammonia a suitable solution to wash chemistry glassware in? I tried sodium bicarbonate for a base wash last time and it did something weird to my glassware joints.
Thanks in advance for the responses and the responses to my previous threads.
