Calculating gas absorption onto an absorbate
« on: April 16, 2013, 11:43:41 PM »
Hey guys, I am currently doing a lab write up and have run into a bit of a hurdle. I have obtained experimental pressure results from nitrogen gas being absorbed onto 0.054g of unknown catalyst. What I am required to do is to calculate the volume of gas absorbed. I know that I need to use the BET equation but it is all a little overwhelming. Any tips would be appreciated. I have not included my experimental data or the BET equation as I am not looking for a direct answer, just a push in the right direction.

Cheers.
