I currently have my bachelor's degree in Community Health Education and I am thinking about taking some undergrad classes to get into a Master's program. I am thinking about chemistry because Community health isnt doing it for me. I always want to know "but why does a disease do that?" and go into more depth with the chemistry behind diseases, etc. I have always enjoyed science and I think I am selling myself short  with my current job/degree choice. The programs that I am looking at right now are either Biochem or Clinical Chem. I am thinking Biochem mostly because I feel like it is more marketable for a job. I am also thinking Clinical Chemis because that subject truly interests me and I can see myself doing it. The only thing I don't see a lot of job opportunities for Clinical Chemists. I understand that they could work at hospitals doing lab work but a quick google search for jobs or other people with this degree comes up with nothing. Can someone tell me more about this, and maybe guide me in the right direction? Is clinical chem pointless?

Would I have to start as a lab technician after my masters? I am looking at the degree requirements and all of them said bachelors in chemistry. What are some other job opportunities or job titles I should be looking at?
