Hello everyone,

I have a mixture of two liquids and i am trying to figure out what percentages of each liquid there is in the mixture without having to buy a hydrometer.  I know the specific gravity of each pure liquid and the specific gravity of the mixture.  Can i use these data to convert specific gravity into a percentage of each liquid in the mixture?  If this is not an option, are there any other easy ways to make this determination without destroying/altering the mixture?

No easy way. Volumes / densities aren't additive.

One way, if you have access to pure liquids is to make a number of solutions of varying densities and plot a curve. Then you can interpolate what your mixture might be.
