Hello, this is my first post on this site. So I hope I am asking this in the correct section.

Our professor gave us a review sheet with a bunch of question for our organic chem test on thrusday. However, he lost the solutions and said he will not be posting them until Thursday morning, I have attempted the questions but I am not sure about 2 question and if I did them correct, I was wondering if someone would be able to check them over me, because I would like to figure out the problem before the day of the test!

P.S I am stuck on the question about why the reaction is not a good way to make isopropyl alcohol, I haven't seen any information pertaining to that in the text or lecture notes.

The reaction with HI is an SN2 reaction. What will be the product? Can a further reaction take place?
