i have been set an assignment about the extraction of bromine in anglesey and bromine extraction from the dead sea
ihave to
compare the techniques and state the advantages and disadvantages of the techniques at the 2 sites

iam completly stuck all i can think of is the fact thst anglesey is located where there is a prevailing wind which carries the hazourdous gases out to sea

so any ideas ?

can you describe the 2 techniques?

the first one is with a blowing out tower and the second one is where dead sea water is evapourated and NaCl, K and MgCl and then CaCl crystalise out in turn leaving the bromine rich solution
