So here's the question:


What I'm struggling to understand is why the answer is not being divided by 2. See, if we are writing the rate of reaction for a reactant then our equation is going to be of the general form -[reactant]/( Coefficient * Δt ). So in this case, since we are talking about NOBr, shouldn't the equation be -[NOBr]/2Δt?

So for part a, we would have -(.0088-.0249)/(2*(20-8)) = 6.71e-4 mol/(L·s), right?

You need to graph it out, use least squares line to estimate for unknowns.
