How to remove salt from mixture of acid and base
« on: July 26, 2013, 11:29:57 PM »
How would one go about extracting a salt from a solution of HCL, NH4OH, and Water? I believe the salt is dissolved in the acid. How would I go about separating the acid from the water/base and then extracting the salt?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Remember that HCl and NH4OH react with each other. What is the actual composition of the mixture? What is the salt?
