how can I find out how many grams of BaCl2 are needed to make 100mL of a 1.5M solution?

1M = 1 mole/dm
3
= 1 mole/Litre

Once you have calculated haw many moles of BaCl2 there are convert to mass:
mass <=====> moles conversion
moles to mass:
Moles * (molar mass) = grams
mass to moles:
grams * (1/molar mass)= moles
