Relation between O2 and O
« on: August 03, 2013, 12:00:04 PM »
Hi I'm currently working on a gasification reactor. My first set of calculations are for the mass balance which has each process flow broken up into chemical compositions of H,C,O,S and N. However, there is also air flowing into the reactor, with the assumption that it is 79% N2 and 21% O2. Is there anyway I can break down the N2 and O2 to compositions of N and O for the purposes of the calculations?

yes there is

pls. expand some more about the exact problem you wish to calculate for, so we can choose from the pool of equations ref. "gases" the ones that might suit your problem

There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
