What are the best conditions for synthesis of amide from ESTER AND AMINE

I tried to react an benzocaine(on ester) with N,N-Diethyl ethylene diamine to synthesize amide under reflux with 1:2 ratio with ethanol, its nt working...

Please be more specific, are you trying to convert benzocaine

Nc1ccc(cc1)C(=O)OCC

to

O=C(c1ccc(N)cc1)N(CC)CC

by refluxing benzocaine in diethylamine and ethanol?

yes in n,n-diethyl ethylene diamine and ethanoL
