I wonder if there is a reaction between a secondary amine and PBr3? Will it form something like an N-P bond?? Since i observed a color change when I accidentally added PBr3 to a test tube of sample with a secondary amine

I added PBr3 to DMF, some of it changed color to violet. In DMF are some amine impurities. What was the color change that you observed?
