Please could you be a little more specific? Do you want to remove the adhesive from the tape for some purpose (please specify) or solubilse it to apply it to the tape?

Aromatic hydrocarbons are good for this, benzene, toluene or xylene but your application / process may require a different approach.

For example, xylene is used to remove adhesive from tape used to lift fibres for forensic analysis.

most of the glues used in PSA -  tapes are neatly soluble in toluene

Thank you for the replies. I tried toluene but it does not work. While there is toluene the adhesive tape  is NOT sticky. But as soon as toluene vaporizes, it becomes sticky again.
We tried IPA( isoprophylalcohol), hexane, n-heptane, benzene, acetone but the same.
Are  there any other chemicals for removing glue from a double side adhesive tape?
Thank you

You could try some esters such as ethyl acetate or butyl acetate, or ethers like diethyl ether or tert-butylmethyl ether or perhaps halogenated solvents, dichloromethane, chloroform etc.

There is always HFE-7100 ( methoxy-nonafluorobutane) which is a good solvent but is pretty expensive.
