Hello! Is the flame test the best test for sodium? I think yes caue it has a very bright flame....

Any help would be great!

Yeah! The flame test is pretty sensitive! Bright Yellow flame. Try to use a spectroscope if you can.

The problem is, it is so sensitive you may easily get false positive in case of slighly contaminated sample.
