I will need to check. I have the forum displayed in a reverse order (newest posts first), so what I see looks different than what most people see.

If you see a good post, you are not going to like/share the thread if it requires scrolling. Then, those trying to see what you liked will see a thread - and not necessarily the part that you considered interesting.

So it is not an easy decision.

If you're just going to put one per thread, then I like it better where it is now.  That obviously won't work if you do it for every post.  I don't mind having it for every post.  Most forums are so busy anyway these days I'm kind of used to the clutter.
