I need help with my hydroxamic acid reaction

I want to synthesis hydroxamic acid from ester and I have these procedures

.6 gm of  ester is dissolved in 30 ml methanol added to mix of 2gm hydroxylamine hydrochloride and potassium hydroxide dissolved in water then the mix is stirred and heated for 72 hrs
   
5Ml Hcl is added for neutralization until PH reached 7 and the KCL salt is filtered of
The hydroxamates is separated by mix of water and ethylacetate

but there no result from this reaction
please I want to know any suggestion fro your experience

You say no result. What are you re-isolating, starting ester and if so how much?
Development Chemists do it on Scale, Research Chemists just do it!
