Antiaromatic transition state
« on: December 27, 2013, 06:23:08 AM »
Why do some reaction still proceed even if the transition state is anti-aromatic, a four electron system? It is highly unstable but some reactions will have a nice yield. How to overpass this problem? I saw somewhere that UV is used, but why? What else could be used?
