Does anyone know is DBU compatibile with NaH? I tried samo reaction with Boc2O, there was too much starting material at TLC after 12h, and I decided to add DBU in reaction system . . .

I've never tried mixing the two before and don't see any literature precedent for it so there is little to go off... so probably not. 

What substrate are you trying to boc protect?
