Pi bonding concept help

Regarding the molecule OCS (Carbonyl sulfide), is the central carbon still sp3 hybridized, as it must maintain the Pi system with BOTH elements simultaneously to give carbon an octet?

I think its only sp hybridization. Pi bonds doesnt hybridize and the molecule is linear, however if it were sp3 it would have been tetrahedral

Yes it's sp in an analogous way to CO2
