Just need a little help balancing equations
« on: March 09, 2014, 11:44:50 PM »
Hi everyone,

I am in a chemistry class in community college & the professor likes to not teach.
For whatever reason, balancing equations is my weakest point, which may seem lame to some people, but I need help please.

I've attached the sheet of equations that need to be completed and balanced. I just truly don't know what I am supposed to do because all she ever showed us was a single combustion reaction.

Can someone please do a couple & explain how it's done?
Thank you!

It is not about just balancing, it is about predicting products of organic reactions.

Is this a GenChem course, or organic chemistry course?
