Is this okay to use?
« on: March 18, 2014, 04:07:04 PM »
So our lab has a jar of p-benzoquinone from J.T. Baker Chemical company. It is pretty old so I can not find any MSDS or information on the chemical grade itself. The reason I am curious is because generally high quality p-benzoquinone is yellow however this is a black powder.

J.T.Baker Co. It must be quite old almost a museum piece I think.
Just buy a new bottle from Sigma.
