I need clarification

Hello,
I've heard that by burning the dust and carbon using some special ovens, the produce is more expensive than gold. Is that true? I need more details about this product as I would like to write a research paper about it.
Thanks.

I'm guessing you're talking abut carbon microtubules, and other nano-fabricated products. You should be able to find enough on the topic, even if the whole process isn't as simple as your initial question.

Making nanotubes and bucky balls is pretty easy. However the price value of such materials is highly dependent on purity, and this takes pretty sophisticated equipment. So if your hope is to strike it rich by baking carbon in an oven, you might prepare yourself to be disappointed.
