Just wondering what the process is for forming anisole, I can't seem to find it anywhere!
Many thanks

to the best of my knowledge, there is no one-step process for this transformation: you'd have to prepare
phenol
first (several methods) , and then do an ether synthesis (
Williamson's
comes to mind)

Ah okay. Went for sulfonation, then heating with a base to form a phenol and then Williamson's. Thanks for your *delete me*
