I'm wondering if anyone knows the chemical formula for oil used as a petroleum-based fluid in hydraulic systems?

It's a mixture of hydrocarbons with a specific boiling range. The higher the boiling point range collected the more viscous the oil becomes so you would have to check what the viscosity of hydraulic fluid is first.
