I´m looking for some easy method to measure cyanate.
Imust star up the analytical method in a few days and then chromatographic methods aren´t convinient.
I also found some method (suggested by Apha in the standard methods for examination of water and wastewater) that suggest the practice of an acidic decomposition, but this method is also complicated and we try some draft experiment and the recovery rate was very bad.
Someone knows some fast analysis kit or some other simple method??

You mean cyanide? What concentrations?

You may look into AgNO₃ complexometric titration. Silver is complexed to Ag(CN)₂^-, end point is detected by white precipitate of AgCN.
