Ninhydrin test turned orange then blue?!

When synthesizing a peptide sequence KLTWQELYQLKYKGI, my ninhydrin test turned orange than blue when I was testing for deprotection. Something wrong? ???

I don't recall seeing exactly that sequence of events.  However, I have noticed that when spotting an amine very heavily, the color is not the same as when the same substance is spotted lightly.
