What type of reaction is this?

When styrene is treated with H2SO4 a dimer (1-methyl-3-phenylindan) is formed.
I know the mechanism, but I want to know what the reaction is called? I have a hard time finding similar exercises in my organic chemistry book.

Is it an electrophilic aromatic substitution reaction?

Two moles of styrene are used.
Development Chemists do it on Scale, Research Chemists just do it!
