Ionic Formulae
« on: March 29, 2006, 07:59:19 AM »
For the last few weeks I have had a chemistry teacher who is training and to be fair her english is very poor. She is difficult to understand and as a result the class I attend does not understand the crucial topic she has been teaching. In addition to this I have been off sick for a few days and have missed a test, which I then took at a later date and failed.

Could someone please shed some light on excatly how ionic formulae work, how to write them, cations, anions. precipitates, insoluble salts and so on? Sorry to ask so much but without help I'm in big trouble....

Thanks in advance, James
