Stardardization of NaOH, Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH solution diluted to 500ml)
So i did these two titrations (3 times each. KHP titration then Aspirin titration):
KHC8H4O4(aq) + NaOH(aq) --> KNaC8H4O4(aq) + H2O(l)
C9H8O4 + NaOH --> C9H7O4Na + H2O
I was told there was a link between the two. But Im going crazy trying find what it is. I was that one couldnt be done without the other but dont know why. Looks like both have the phalate ion I guess. Anyone wanna help?
