Most people believe that Sucrose is more soluble than Sodium Chloride. Is this accurate?
In the
wikipedia article about solubility, there is a chart that states that compounds with ionic structures are the most soluble, NaCl has ionic bonds. In the middle range of solubility, according to the chart, are compounds that have Polar Covalent bonds, which Sucrose has, correct? This would lead one to assert that Sodium Chloride has a higher solubility than Sucrose.
Which has a higher solubility? Sucrose, or Sodium Chloride?
Thanks for your attention!
