Organic Chemistry help?
«
on:

Hello,
I am having difficulty in understanding the numbering of carbon atoms mechanism in organic nomenclature.
I need help in poly functional carbon chains and especially in cyclic compounds.
Thanks in advance!

It would be easier to help you with this if you could perhaps post your attempt at solving a specific problem because there are different sets of nomenclature rules depending on how advanced your class is.
Otherwise I might just be wasting your time telling you stuff you already know.
