Good day everybody,
I am about to start anaerobic digestion process in batch reactors, I need your help regarding calculations, specifically equations.

TS = 93.43 g/100 g
VS = 90.56 g/100 g
working volume = 400 mL
inoculum : Substrate = 2
substrate loading = 5 g/L (VS basis)
how can I calculate the amount (g) of substrate and inoculum to be added. I come across the following expression, is it ok?
Mass substrate = working volume * % VS _inoculum *% TS _inoculum / %VS inoculum * %TS inoculum + ratio * %VS substrate * %TS substrate
Mass inoculum = ratio * Mass substrate * %VS substrate * %TS substrate / %VS inoculum * %TS inoculum
